About Nobody Wants A Styl.us
Sunday June 10, 2007Hi. I’m Brett Peters, and this is Nobody Wants a Stylus.
Nobody Wants a Stylus is a website where I write about my iPhone. It’s a mix of essays, tips, links, and reviews; I hope you find something you like. Please do let me know what you think.
The site’s name comes from a phrase Steve Jobs used at the Macworld 2007 keynote introducing the iPhone’s touch screen:
So how are we going to communicate with this thing?
I know, we’ll use a stylus, right? We’re going to use a stylus!
No. Yuck. You have to get ‘em, and put them away, and lose them… Yuck.
Nobody wants a stylus. So let’s not use a stylus.
Now, before you tell me that it’s crazy to name a blog after this, may I point you to someone who made a music video from this keynote:
It was quite a speech. (Video via TUAW.)
Advertising
Sidebar advertising space is available on Nobody Wants A Stylus. Currently, a single 125×125 slot is available.
Colophon
Nobody Wants a Stylus‘s design is by the talented Cameron Hunt.
The site relies upon Textpattern and MySQL to generate pages, which in turn are served to you by Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers running at Cornerhost.
As an aside, the site can be accessed at both nobodywantsastyl.us and nobodywantsastylus.com for your typing convenience. They’re the same site. (I know how hard it can be to get that period in the right spot.)
