More Uses For Tape
Apr 9, 09:29 PMWhile the Scotch Tape Trick didn’t do anything for my reception, I discovered a new use for clear packing tape tonight after my son dropped my iPhone on the floor.
The glass shattered on top, but is still intact. I placed clear packing tape over it to keep any from falling out.
Amazingly, the touchscreen still works.
All internal functions seem okay.
(Don’t read too much into the “No Service” indicator. That’s pretty common in my house.)
There’s some trouble with the screen in the area with heavy cracking (near the Clock, Maps, and Calculator icons), but otherwise it’s pretty responsive.
